A sociology student visits Arkham Asylum to interview its most notorious inmates for his master's thesis. Facing resistance from the asylum director, its chief psychiatrist, and the inmates themselves, he must complete his work and satisfy his personal motivations for being there as these factors test his emotions and his sanity.
